Amber Solana is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator based in Atlanta. She has been dancing for 19 years, and grew up dancing competitively. She recently graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Dance and a concentration in Modern, where she had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers including Tristian Griffin, Autumn Eckman, Lisa K. Lock, and Andrea Knowlton. During college, Amber also trained and performed with ImmerseATL, attended the LINK Audition Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, and traveled to Italy to train with Staibdance. Alongside performing, she has also presented her choreography at Atlanta’s Fall 4 Fall Dance Festival and KSU’s Student Dance Concert Series. Her movement background is rooted in modern and contemporary dance, but she also trained intensively in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, improvisation, and lyrical. Amber brings energy into her teaching and loves giving her students a space where they can grow as dancers, build confidence, and have fun while doing it.
