Molly Caplan

Molly Caplan grew up in Honolulu, HI, where she began her dance training at The Movement Center under the direction of Lisa Kimsey. She continued her dance training at The Dancer’s Studio Backstage in Alpharetta, GA and joined their pre-professional company, Atlanta Dance Theater, at the age of 11 under the direction of Jonnie C. Kelley and Robert Gosnell. During her time with ADT, Molly had the opportunity to perform and take master classes with different dance festivals throughout the Southeast such as, Jazz On Tap, Ballet Fest, and SERBA (Southeast Regional Ballet Association). During her 7 seasons with ADT she danced in a variety of performances such as, Babes In Toyland, Swan Lake, Coppelia, Cinderella, and Paquita. During her summer studies she attended American Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and Ballet Hawaii.

After graduating from high school Molly went on to study dance and early childhood education at Kennesaw State University and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college, she choreographed dance numbers for UGA’s SDT Greek Grind, a dance competition which raises money for Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA) and she became a licensed Zumba Instructor teaching classes at a few local gyms and public events.  She has also had the opportunity to be a flashmob coordinator, which has been an extremely rewarding experience.

Molly has almost a decade of teaching experience with studios throughout the Atlanta area, working with students ages 3-18. She currently works for the MJCCA’s J Dance Company where she teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, pre-pointe, pointe, and technique. Molly has helped to set ballets, production numbers, and competition pieces for the MJCCA. Molly looks forward to sharing her passion and excitement for dance with her students at Integrity 360 Dance Center.
